New Hampshire Name Changes 1836

LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
AN ACT to alter the names of certain persons therein mentioned
BE it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in the General Court convened, That from and after the passge of this act, the several persons herein named shall be called and known by the names which by this act they are respectively allowed to assume, viz:

Adrell Hawes of Mason may take the name of Adrell Jefts
Nehemiah Heath Flanders of Warner may take the name of Heath Flanders
James Laurett of Effingham may take the name of James Washington Lauritt
Horatio Leathers orf Mudbury may take the name of John William Crosby
Nathaniel Bean of Warner may take the name of Martin Bean
Lucy Brown Fuller of Marlborough may take the name of Lucy Brown Adams
Hope Austin Wheeler of Shelburne may take the name of Austin Wheeler
Joseph Thyny of Exeter may take the name of Joseph Thyny Porter
John Colby 3d of Warner may take the name of John Peasley Colby
Samuel Webster of Concord may take the name of Samuel Crawford Webster
William McKindrew Brier of Gilmanton may take the name of George Washington Morrison
James Plumer of Milton may take the name of John James Plumer
Tristram B. Johnson of Dover may take the name of Tristram B. Curtis
